[Cursillo] Beyond Day coverage in the Diocesan TuesdayE-Board listserv email

Any thoughts about having someone from St. Paul's Salem submit something like this to the Diocese for including in their Tuesday E-Board email to the Diocese of Oregon listserv.  They will only run it once, and it must be approved by some "sponsoring" clergy or congregation.  It might give the announcement wider exposure.

"St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Salem will be hosting a Cursillo Beyond day / Ultreya on Saturday, May 31, from 10am to 1pm.  Bring a potluck item to share for lunch.  There will be a business meeting with election of officers at 9am, and all are invited to attend that."

I attended the mananitas last Sunday morning for the first ever Oregon Lutheran Cursillo, held at Canby Grove.  Very nice.  The team was mostly from Califonia (with a couple of Virginians thrown in), and included a couple of Episcopalians!!  As usual, a good time was being had by all.  Pray for them as well.  Should we, perhaps, invite those folks to the Salem Beyond Day?

DIOCESE OF OREGON E-BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS

The E-Board publicizes programs and events consistent with the mission and ministry and established sources of authority of the Diocese of Oregon and the Episcopal Church, and that have the sponsorship of the official lay and clergy leadership of congregations and institutions of the Diocese.  We appreciate submissions that have been previously reviewed by the clergy and/or wardens of the congregation.  If possible, please limit the announcement to 50 words or less, in paragraph form.  The Diocese of Oregon sends announcements every Tuesday afternoon except in special circumstances.  We only run an announcement once due to the large volume of events.  Most events are also placed on the website calendar of events.  Past  issues of the E-Board are available on the website, www.diocese-oregon.org under “News and Information” – E-Board Online.  The deadline for weekly announcements is Monday at 4:00 pm.  To submit an item, email marko at diocese-oregon.org.  If you would like to receive the much anticipated weekly E-Board, have a new email address or be removed (heaven forbid!) from the E-Board list email Janice Lusk at:  janicel at diocese-oregon.org.
