This prayer is for the Past Women's Roman Catholic Cursillo Rectora, Mary
Griffin who lives in Coos Bay. She would appreciate any prayers.
Please keep my Uncle Jack (Brabrook) in your prayers. He fell and re-broke
the same leg that had been broken in the past. They did surgery to repair
it, but when they started to do physical therapy the next day, his blood
pressure dropped and he had a heart attack. They flew him out to the
hospital in Santa Rosa, where tests indicate he needs a new heart valve.
Unfortunately, they can't do surgery until he heals more, and they can't
send him home either. He's 78, and not in the greatest health anyway. Your
prayers would be appreciated.
This is a follow-up e-mail sent to me the next day.
I received an e-mail from my Aunt Marian last night that when she spoke to
Uncle Jack, he was having some problems with fluid on the lungs, and had used
2 pints of blood in 2 days....possibly from the leg wound...or possibly the
OLD leg wound, they still weren't sure. Pneumonia is always an immediate
problem of lying around in a hospital bed. I know they would be grateful for all
your prayers.
Blessings, Mary
