[Cursillo] Update on Judy Zeimann

Dear Family and Friends,
 
I suspect that this journey will have a lot of changes of  direction as we go 
along.  On Thursday I learned that I will be receiving  my chemo in Redding,( 
98 miles away),  not Mount Shasta because of Medi-Cal  regulations.  
Therefore, I begin the process this Wednesday, continue in  Redding on Thursday and 
get the expensive shot in Yreka on Friday.  I hope  to stay as often as possible 
at the Mercy Hospitality Center next to the  hospital.   Friends will 
probably bring me down and then pick me up  again on Thursday.  The American Cancer 
Society will pay up to $400 per  year for lodging and reimbursement for 
mileage.  I am hearing about other  funds as I go along.  The Medi-Cal approval has 
not yet come  through.
 
The porta-cath will be installed on Tuesday  afternoon.
 
Thanks for your notes and encouragement.  I will  probably only respond 
occasionally.
