rule of Life: Piety; Lenten study stations of the cross on Thursday nights.
A different one each week. Very interesting to get different perspectives
on it and continued reading of the Last Week.

I think that Study and Action are together as I prepared for Mom's
Celebration of Life and trying to do the best as Mom died and knowing God
was wit us the whole time holding our hand.

Moment closest to Christ: Watching my 2 Grandsons Acolyte at the funeral.
Or maybe watching my husband sleep on the floor next to Zoë Clara and pray
she gets better. So far she has but the edema in her left hind leg is
concerning. Also telling a specialist at the vet's that God healed Zoë 3
years ago as they continue to to not understand why she is still alive.
Gives me goose bumps.

I am studying the readings for the Confirmations at OES this Saturday night.
Rather excited to go.

Action: keeping the faith for Phil,,,, being there for those who Mom helped
every Sunday. There Mom would sit blind and practically deaf holding the
hand of Nell who suffered a bad stroke and in a wheel chair. I can't tell
you the strength it gave mom. Nell was the reason many times Mom kept going
to church when her sick little body preferred to stay in bed. Need to thank
the chaplain at St. V's for the outstanding vigil when mom died. This girl
was amazing and so into God. I need to get cards out to those who have lost
someone special and see what I can do for them. It is extra time I now have
and I do not want to waste it. I am too tired and must go to bed. I pray
this makes some kind of since.

God go with all of you, I look forward to our Cursillo meeting on the 28th
so I can see all of you. Finally having a service for Mom has helped but it
still seems unreal. I am appreciative of all of you in our life.

Subject: [Cursillo] Group Reunion for 4/1 and Holy Week

Dear Groupies. I have not forgotten you. But I was home all last week with
the flu, later turning to bronchitis, or at worst, pneumonia, but the doctor
didn't do an X-ray due to my not having medical insurance, so we weren't
exactly sure what it was. Anti-biotics and/or just sheer grit and God's
healing power have gotten me back to work this week. Still blowing and
coughing a little, but I am not contagious, and I am feeling a lot better.
Praise God!

Rule of Life:
Piety: Stayed home from church 2 Sundays ago, but was back for Palm/Passion
Sunday. Didn't do much Morning or Evening Prayer when I was so sick, but
began this week again.
My prayer beads are sitting in the drawer for now. Oops. . .

Moment Closest to Christ: Sitting with my husband in church Sunday when I
couldn't sing (although I ended up singing toward the end of the service,
but softly. Then went to choir rehearsal after coffee hour.) Just being
close to people I know and some familiar but still un-named newer faces in
the back of the congregation, was all so cozy and inspiring, especially
listening to people praying out loud our singing.

Study: After all my other Lenten reading was finished, I finished the book
about Haines Alaska, written by the obituary writer for that town. There
were some beautiful moments in that book also. The author is an Episcopalian
with a very deep love for people and how God uses them.

Action: Well, Cliff's mom fell out of bed when I was sick, so I supported
Cliff in all he did for her and in taking care of me! I also am gathering
towels from Mom's house for Salvation Army Harbor Light Center. I had a
wonderful phone conversation with my ex-boss from there, who will give me a
great professional reference if there are any other jobs open in the office
at Adams & Gray. That really made my week when I was home and feeling awful
physically. I am also helping with the footwashing at the Maunday Thurs.
service (Vestry asked to do this), and also in serving and

Sunday service coffee hour.

Haven't heard from some of you lovely people. Are you still out there? Do
you still want to group?

God Bless and have a very meaningful Holy Week and a Blessed Easter!
