Below is the e-mail I got from Theresa (Debbie's Daughter).

I spoke with Debbie and the first thing she said was, "This prayer thing is
great!" She's in good spirits, sounds tired and definitely loopy from all the
meds. etc. There was some concern about her being able to be discharged
today...her bottom # on the Blood Pressure needed to be above 40...finally got
her there with a bunch of fluids and she went home at 7:30 pm. She says the
doc. scraped away some cartilage and filed down some bone. She says this surgery
was more painful than she anticipated. Debbie does not like to use pain
medications. The doctors tell her that she could be back to her regular routine
in about 3 weeks but even then to use common sense. I say, let's pray for
Debbie to have common sense and patience with herself...and of course, complete
healing!. She will need to do some Physical Therapy but for the moment needs
to stay off it for 2-3 days. Curt cooked dinner and has been great.

She's supposed to see a doctor on Wed. so on my way home from Mount
Angel...I'll stop in and get an update.

Love to all,
Anne

Hi Anne,

I just talked to my mom a few minutes ago, and she asked me to email you
with an update. The power of prayer is quite amazing! Mom's surgery went very
well. So well, in fact, that the doctor's were surprised to find that her knee
was no longer as damaged as the MRI had originally shown. Originally she was
supposed to need to use crutches for the next couple of weeks. However, since
the surgery went so much better than expected, she won't need to use crutches
at all. Mom has been released from the hospital and is now resting at home.
She is still under the effect of the pain meds and anesthesia, so she is
pretty loopy right now, but she is not feeling any pain.
Thank you so much for all your prayers. It definitely made a difference.
Please continue to pray that mom has a quick recovery.

Your sister in Christ,
Theresa Mullan
