Update: [Cursillo] Please pray on Tuesday

Thank you all for your prayers.  Unfortunately, there was an error on the
last CT scan a day or two before the surgery.  They discovered the error
after Amy was anesthetized but before any incisions were made.  They had to
reschedule, but I haven't gotten the new date yet.  Fortunately, prayer is
never a bad thing.

 

I'll post again shortly before the new surgery date.

Dear friends,

 

My good friend Amy Kelly (who has not yet made Cursillo, but has been to a
couple Ultreyas, so some of you may remember her) is scheduled for brain
surgery the morning of December 12 to alleviate her life-long epilepsy.
Please take a couple minutes on Tuesday to pray for her safety and a speedy
recovery, and for support for her worried family (parents, sisters, and
grandmother).

 

As she has pointed out, "In what way is going into a surgery to remove a
section of brain the size of a plum, and expecting to come out of it without
significant negative side effects NOT a miracle?"
